Romeo is a rich medium brown with a black face mask, black ears and black on his lower legs. His fiber is fine for such a dark male, and is dense with a fine crimp and has a nice handle. His body is compact and well boned, with nicely defined muscling, and his conformation is excellent.

Romeo's sire is 369 Peruvian Orion, a bay black son of Peruvian Camilio. Orion has won multiple awards, but more importantly, his cria are winning top awards in the ring as well; not only blue ribbons; but more importantly, champion ribbons! He was only shown at two shows, the 2005 NMST, where he placed 2nd at six months. The judge commented on his extremely fine, crimpy fiber, but stated she was, "unable to totally evaluate the fleece on him, due to the 'matting' from playing with the other boys." So she placed him second. She later brought him back in and considered him as a tie for the Reserve Color Champion, again, she stated it was unfortunate she could not fully evaluate his fiber. At the 2006 Southwest Regional Alpaca Show, five months later, he again took a second place (still matted).
