HCAR Techado

ARI# 31437226   D.O.B. 8/6/2008  (11 yrs)

Huacaya, Male, Unproven | White

7/8 Peruvian, 1/8 Chilean
Sire: FFTX Cody | ARI# 842309  | Dark Fawn |
Dam: Touch of Cinnamon | ARI# 1404999  | White, Dark Fawn, Medium Brown

This sweet, young male is a carbon copy of his full brother, Prince Charming. He is the second cria out of our top female, Touch of Cinnamon, who the judges said was what "breeders should be aiming for in their breeding programs." He is sired by award winning hersire, FFTX Cody, who just won the 2008 AFCNA Spirit of Fiber Award and a blue ribbon at the 2008 F2F.

He has tight, crimpy, bundled fiber with a wonderful springy handle. It has nice length and is everything breeders could wish for. But what else would you expect from genetics like his? Fabio, Camilio, Destino, and Hemmingway just from his sire. His dam is a grand daugher of Dom Lucilio who is commanding $7500 breeding fees and who continues to sire champion in the show ring. He really is the complete package with excellent fiber and perfect conformation.

Techado is named after the town, actually a post office, that used to be here on the corner where we live. It can still be seen on some maps.

He is a big boy for his age, yet he is still a gentle soul and as of yet has not started to challenge the other herdsires. We expect him to take care of business when the time is right.
